David Webster

I am Dr David Webster, and this blog relates to Higher Education learning and teaching, (often, but not always, in a technology-enhanced context). I am also interested in educational uses of social media and related activities.

Current role: Director of the Centre for Innovation in Learning & Teaching at The School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London.

I was formerly Head of Learning and Teaching Innovation at the University of Gloucestershire, and taught on the Religion, Philosophy & Ethics course there too.

On twitter I am @davidwebster. For some of my non-academic work, see my non-fiction piece for Holdbreaker.

I recently gave the keynote lecture at the University of Sheffield’s 2018 TELFest, where I spoke about Learning and Teaching in relation to to Social Media, and social inequity / justice.
